Dr. Raymond F. Munaretto
Medical CareerDr. Raymond Munaretto received his Bachelor in Science degree from the University of Illinois at Champaign–Urbana. He then entered the University of Illinois Dental School at Chicago. He obtained his D.D.S. degree with honors in 1976. He continued on that year by entering a 12 month general practice residency program at the Veteran Administration Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. While there, he decided to specialise in Endodontics.
He was accepted into the University of Illinois postgraduate Endodontics program. Dr. Ray graduated and received his Endodontic specialty license in 1979 and immediately with his brother Dr. Rich, started Cameo Endodontics, with his practice limited to root canal therapy. He has been practicing as a specialist in Endodontics since then.
Professional Life and LaurelsDr. Ray is a member of the American Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Arcolian Dental Society and Chicago Dental Society.
Interests and PhilanthropyDr. Ray lives with his wife in the western suburbs of Chicago. They have twin sons who attended the University of Illinois at Champaign–Urbana. Alex continued on to receive his dental degree (DMD) from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is now pursuing a degree in Oral Surgery. Alex's brother Nick received his medical degree (MD) from the Medical College of Wisconsin and is now a Resident in Orthopedics at the Mayo Clinic.
