A native of River Forest, IL, Dr. Jenna Kirk Munaretto received her Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana with high distinction for her research. Upon graduation from U of I, she went on to receive a Master of Science in Health Administration. After working for a few years, she decided to go back to school. She went on to receive her Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) from the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society (OKU). After graduating from dental school, she was accepted to the University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry, where she completed a two-year residency in Endodontics. During her undergraduate and graduate education, Dr. Munaretto participated in and published several papers in research studying new molecular delivery methods of medications and pain disorders and perception following surgery.
