Dr. John Jeff Neal
Endodontist

Dr. Neal is a native Hoosier, hailing from northwest Indiana. He received a D.D.S. from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2005, then completed an Advanced Education for General Dentists (AEGD) Residency in the US Navy in 2006. Dr. Neal completed an endodontic residency at the Naval Postgraduate School in Bethesda, MD in 2010 and concurrently received a Master’s in Science (MS) from The George Washington University.
Dr. Neal is very active in education and organized Dentistry. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics in 2014. He was appointed on Staff at the Naval Postgraduate Dental School as Program Director for Endodontics from July 2017- July 2020. While back in Bethesda, he served as President of the Edward C. Penick Endodontic Study Club in our Nation’s Capital. He has been a Board Director as well as the Director for Mentorship for the College of Diplomates (COD) of the American Board of Endodontics (ABE) since April 2020. In this role, he guides and directs endodontists who are on their path to achieve board certification. He will serve as President of the COD from April 2025 – April 2026.
Dr. Neal and his family have spent 25 years of active duty service in the United States Navy. He retired from service and joined the Cameo Team full-time in May 2025. He enjoys spending his free time exercising, golfing and traveling with his family.
