Dr. John M. Chae

Oral And Maxillofacial Surgeon Chicago

Dr. Chae graduated with honors from Loma Linda University, School of Dentistry. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, where he received extensive training in facial trauma, reconstruction and orthognathic surgery. He is an expert in outpatient anesthesia as well as complex dental implant procedures.

 

Dr. Chae is a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery as well as the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He is accredited by the American Heart Association in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support and is also a certified Basic Life Support instructor for healthcare providers. He is accredited by the American College of Surgeons in Advanced Trauma Life Support. Dr. Chae is on staff at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and is an adjunct faculty member at Midwestern University College of Dental Medicine.

 

Outside the office, Dr. Chae enjoys spending time with his wife and son. They live in Chicago and enjoy the outdoor parks and museums. Dr. Chae loves exploring different cultures, cuisine and is a self-described “avid foodie.” He also cherishes the opportunity to serve others internationally as he has traveled to South America and Asia for mission work on numerous occasions.
