Dr. Alissa Pullos

Dr. Pullos was raised in River Forest and graduated from the University of Michigan, where she was a member of the varsity field hockey team. Growing up in a dental family, she was inspired by her grandfather, father, and uncle to pursue a career in dentistry. She graduated from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry as a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society. Following her passion for surgery, she completed her specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Throughout her education and training, Dr. Pullos was heavily involved in research, achieving publications in journals and textbooks.

 

Dr. Pullos is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dedicated to lifelong leaning, she maintains a progressive skill set and takes pride in providing compassionate care for her patients. She is passionate about treating her patients with the most up-to-date techniques and ensuring that they have an overall positive and comfortable experience with their oral surgery care. She is an active member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Illinois Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Chicago Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and Chicago Dental Society. She is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and is a certified Basic Life Support instructor.

 

Outside of the office, Dr. Pullos enjoys spending time with family and friends. She is an animal lover and cooking enthusiast, who also enjoys painting. She loves being outdoors, whether going for a walk with her dog, skiing and snowboarding in the winter, or spending time on the lake in the summer.
