MEDICAL CAREER
Dr. Keith Sommers received his Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College in 1992. He attended the University of Illinois School of Dentistry where he obtained his D.D.S. in 1996. While in dental school, Dr. Keith developed a strong interest in dental research. His work led to a National Institute of Health Award. Dr. Keith completed the University of Illinois endodontic residency program in 1998 and joined Cameo the same year.
PROFESSIONAL LIFE AND LAURELS
Dr. Keith is a member of the American Association of Endodontists (AAE), American Dental Association (ADA), Illinois State Dental Society (ISDS), and Chicago Dental Society (CDS).
In 2017, Dr. Keith received Chicago magazine’s Top Dentist Award.
INTERESTS AND PHILANTHROPY
Dr. Keith lives in the western suburbs with his wife, Nicole. They have been married for 23 years. He and Nicole became foster parents in 2015 and adopted their daughter in 2017. They are the proud parents of four children.
Dr. Keith donates his time and services to many causes including the Infant Welfare Clinic and Dental Lifeline Network.
