Dr. Mina Milicevic

Endodontist

Dr. Mina Milicevic grew up in the Chicagoland area and is the daughter of Serbian immigrants. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Notre Dame in 2015 and her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. During dental school, Dr. Mina was very involved in the American Student Dental Association (ASDA) where she served as President during her third year, helped establish a student Eco-Educator group to promote environmental awareness and sustainability on campus, and regularly volunteered in the community. Dr. Mina was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honors Society in 2019. She was awarded several scholarships for leadership, scholastic performance, and clinical work during her dental school years including the International College of Dentists Student Humanitarian Award, the American College of Dentists Outstanding Student Leader Award, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy Oral Healthy Foundation Scholarship.

 

Dr. Mina grew to love endodontics in dental school and entered the UIC Clinical Specialty Program in Endodontics immediately following graduation. During her residency, her Masters in Oral Sciences thesis project involved biomarker research that explored gene expression profiling of dental pulp tissue using RNA-sequencing technology.

 

Dr. Mina is an active member of the American Association of Endodontists, Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

 

Dr. Mina loves yoga, drawing, painting, spending time with loved ones, and traveling in her free time. She especially loves returning to Serbia to visit family and friends.
