Dr. Nermeen M. Moussa, DDS, MS

Dr. Moussa received her Bachelor of Medical Sciences and Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the Faculty of Dentistry at Kuwait University, where she was granted the Dean’s List Award for Outstanding Academic and Clinical Performance.

Dr. Moussa completed her microsurgical endodontic specialty training at the University of Illinois Chicago (UIC), where she also earned her Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences. During her postgraduate education at UIC, she received the AAE/Dentsply Resident Award from the American Association of Endodontists, the First Place Postdoctoral Clinical Science Young Investigator Award from the American Association for Dental, Oral, and Craniofacial Research, and the First Place Graduate Student Clinical & Behavioral Research Award at UIC.

Dr. Moussa is a board-certified endodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics. She actively participates in organized dentistry and continuing education. Her special interests include regeneration, traumatic dental injuries, and current trends in dental education and clinical practice. She currently serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Her professional memberships include the American Association of Endodontists, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, Illinois Association of Endodontists, American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and Edgar D. Coolidge Endodontic Study Club. Dr. Moussa is also a Past President of the Illinois Association of Endodontists.

Dr. Moussa believes strongly in involving patients in the decision-making process through comprehensive treatment planning in nonsurgical and surgical endodontics and implant dentistry. She strives to provide every patient with compassionate, painless, and stress-free treatment.
