Dr. Taylor Newman

Dr. Taylor Newman is Board Certified in Periodontics and Dental Implant Surgery. She graduated cum laude from The University of Florida. She holds a B.S. in Integrative Biology with a minor in communication studies, and a Masters Degree in Biomedical Sciences from Miami’s Barry University. Dr. Newman obtained her DMD from Boston’s Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and went on to receive her Certificate in Periodontics and Masters in Oral Sciences from UIC in Chicago.
In dental school, Dr. Newman worked as a tutor in physiology and gross anatomy, and served as a teaching assistant in the medicine department. At Tuft’s Bates-Andrews Research Day she won the Peer Reviewed Award for her research project, “Assessing the Level of Evidence in the Post-Graduate Experience at TUSDM.” She is a recipient of the Dr. Alfred Osher, DG62, and Mrs. Suzi Osher Endowed Scholarship for “demonstrating exceptionally high standards for personal and work ethics.” Dr. Newman also won the Northeastern Society of Periodontics Certificate of Achievement Awards, and received the Northeastern Society of Periodontics Certificate of Achievement award in her senior year.
Outside the office Taylor Newman enjoys cooking, reading, traveling, and time spent with friends and family.
